I am still an amateur as my truck is only 2 days old, but I cannot get the spot lamps to work. When I hit the button during the day they do not illuminate. I am going to try them at night tonight but wanted to ask if anyone has any insight on their operation. Thank you in advance
I thought this was the coolest feature until I realized they really aren't very bright and have very little reach. When I'm reversing my trailer up my tight driveway, I switch them on to make sure my mirrors aren't brushing up against trees or the fence. So they have a small purpose.

I agree. Its a bit of a stretch to call them "spot" lamps. Maybe if they had LEDs with a focused lens on them. Hmmm, might have to look around. Anyone have the LED (bulb) number???
I can see where they might come in handy when pulling through a campground at night, obviously going less than 6mph, instead of having headlights on, just to add a little extra light.
I've seen them called "Puddle Lights" in the schematics
The puddle lights are something different...they are two bright LED bulbs underneath the mirrors. The spotlights are on the mirror shell in between the clearance lamps.
