I have a 99, 250, 7.3. Just recently when I turn the **** to activate my headlights I get no dash instruments lights, and no exterior parking/running lights. The head lights still work though. I have checked all the fuses under the dash and under the hood and all of them seem to be ok.
Secondly my horn one day just starting going off while sitting in the driveway. no key in the ignition or anything. It ran for about 30 min then stopped. It didnt kill the battery but now I have no horn. When I press it I hear the clicking under the dash but no horn.
Any suggestions for both of my issues would be greatly appreciated.
For the lights it could just be a bad switch.
If your horns ran for 30-minutes straight then they're probably burnt out or it's all just a bad horn bladder in the steering wheel pad. Check this thread about how to replace it. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-itself-3.html
