Hello. I have a problem that I can't get fixed. I have new heads gaskets injectors fuel pump battery spark plugs and mass air flow sensor. And yet my truck stalls all the time and runs ruff. Btw it's not the foreign order. I need help figuring out what's wrong before I lost 1,000 in a junk vehicle.
Have you scanned it ??? Do not throw parts at it and hope it works,,,buy a $50.00 scan tool or go to your local Autozone and get it scanned. Post scan codes here and someone will help you out. Pawpaw on this forum can help you with the scan tool,,he knows the brand and where to get it at a good price !!! Would also help to know the year and size engine so we can point you in the right direction !!!!
Hmm could be a vacum leak,,,get a cheap cigar and blow smoke into lines from different locations and look for leaks,,,smoke is easy to spot coming out of lines your blowing into,,,worked for me and you do not have to inhale just puff and blow,,,worth a try and it is cheap test !!!
You might also want to change the gas filter on the frame under the drivers door,,,stopped up filter would cause your troubles and not show up in a scan,,,if that dont do it let me know and I will think harder LOL
I replaced the fuel filter no water in gas tank no vacuum leak just the truck stall. When I plug in the maf the truck don't start unplug it and it idles till it di a then it died and I have to restart truck
Is your MAF sensor a motorcraft one,,,these old rangers can be picky and they do not like after market parts,,,if it is not a motorcrft one I would change it,,,have you checked the air filter and pcv( polution control valve ) or whatever they call it now ???

So many unknowns. If you'll provide more details, the forum may be able to help think this situation through.
You've been busy on this puppy, so I can feel your frustration in things not going well.
What caused you to perform this level of resurrection?
Exactly what did you mean by, "Btw it's not the foreign order."
It takes, air, fuel, spark & compression to make em run. To make em run well, we also need correct valve & spark timing, so what's going missing after the repairs?
If your scan tool says nothing is wrong, it must not be able to sense what's acting out, as OBD-2 monitors a lot of things, so if your scan tool can monitor PID live feeds, it should be able to shed some light on what's acting out & thus help focus your trouble shoot. So tell us what kind of scan tool your using.
