Hubcap identification - Attn. NumberDummy!
1955/56 Ford Passenger Cars & Thunderbird.
However, it's possible that only the center plastic emblem (B5A-1141-A) was reproduced, as the wheel cover is stainless steel and can be polished to look like new.
AFAIK: The only parts that FoMoCo reproduced were the plastic hood front emblems for 1950/51 (0A-16637-B) and 1952/54 (BA-16637-A) Ford Passenger Cars.
Just after they were introduced, vendors at swap meets were selling these, calling them NOS .. but of course, they weren't.
One look at the blue/white box they came in, told anyone with "half a brain" that they could not be original (NOS), since this box (introduced in 1969) featured a speeding Mustang.
Original 1949/early 1950's boxes were red/white with FoMoCo marked on them.
Found a reproduction on Dennis Carpenter site...
Thanks, Sir! The 5 I have are pristine with no signs of having ever been mounted, but now I know they are most likely reproductions. They look so PRETTY that if I did not have the alloy wheels on my truck, I would mount them as I have a spare tire mounted in the bed.

This Greek word is also CA's motto, translates roughly to "I have found it" .. refers to the Gold Rush.
The Gold Rush is over, after WWII ended, liberals from the east began moving to CA, so today, this has become a left wing state with lots of tree huggers and do-gooders.
When there was a 'tree hugger' movement to save some redwood tree forests from loggers, Governor Ronald Reagan said: "When you've seen one redwood tree, you've seen them all!"
