A friend of mine has a '52 Ford truck that came to him in pieces. This part was in the pile and he doesn't know what it is, or if it's even for his truck. Can anyone identify it?

 

It looks like it should be attached to the instrument panel. I am not sure what it is called but they are like fuses.

Thanks for the responses. That's what I love about this board! Lots of people with lots of combined knowledge willing to share it! My own trucks are a lot newer than this so I don't spend any time on this forum, but I (and my friend) sure appreciate the help.
