Accessory power project with pictures

i was going to try and do this the right way this time compared to my other trucks. i might have gone overboard but i think it looks good.... i wanted 12v switched and constant for stuff in the cab. i didnt want to tap into the wires under the dash so i did some reading and found a way to do it myself.

Switched Power -

80amp Breaker
Relay
6 hole fuse box (under dash)

Constant power

80 amp breaker
6 hole fuse box (under dash)

Today i made the bracket for the stuff under the hood. i managed to do it all with a angle grinder and a bench vise. got evertyhing all bent up and painted. luckily i could hang the piece next to the heater in the cieling at the station here, kinda heated it on. got the breakers mounted up and wired in. just need to get the bracket made for the stuff under the dash.

stay tunned for more when i get a chance to build the other bracket

I see Very nice install. What kind of "extras" do you have that you need that much power?

lol alan i dont really have anything yet. nice thing is, once i get the bracket built for the inside of the cab i will mount my fuse boxs there, then throw some switches in the dash and be good to go. installing somethign that needs either switched or constant power will be as easy as plugging a connector into the fuse box and im good to go. i dont have any accessories right now, im just getting ready
