Question about Standard Cab Division Bar

I know the division bar, the bar that separates the window from the wing vent, is painted black on Standard Cabs. I think, or thought that they had a bead of stainless which is part of the fuzzies. When I redid my 54 in 1999, I painted the division bars and put in new fuzzies. Like this.

So, since I am looking for accurate stock parts that no one reproduces, I see an NOS division bar on eBay complete with the fuzzies. However I don't see a stainless bead in the pictures. I call the guy he says it is all black as original for standard cabs. I question him about that, but then I start doubting myself. The bead on my stock untouched 55 is too rusted to tell if it was stainless or painted.

Does anyone know for sure? I am not going to pay for the NOS bar if it has been painted over. He tried to scratch off the black paint on the bead and could not. I will look for pics of original trucks.... like that green low mile 56 that on here and is now for sale.

These division bars include the weather strip that the front of the door window glass fits into.

So does Chrome Plated refer to the division bar or the bead on the weather strip?
