One of the arms broke on mine today. Since my local Ford dealer isn't really convenient for my schedule I'm thinking of ordering one from LMC Truck. They want $15.00 for either black steel or plastic. I've had good luck with them in the past.
Question is, is it pretty easy to swap out? Do I have to watch out for anything when removing the handle?
Guess it didn't show in my signature on my tablet. My Ranger is a 2000 model.
Thanks

Have you ordered a tailgate handle from them in the past?
I have no experience with LMC tailgate handles, but it seems like a lot of aftermarket parts like this are complete junk.
should be a panel at the top to remove to gain access, pretty simple operation

Thanks, I was thinking the same. I will order that part also.

Not a tail gate handle. I'm running their fan on my water pump. My original fan threw a blade and Ford wanted over $400.00 at the time. Plus not one dealer near me could get one. If I remember, a fan at LMC was around $50.00. I also have some other parts under the hood. I do have one of their truck mirrors on my '69 Thunderbird passenger door. It's a pretty close match to the driver door. Only a true Thunderbird purist would know it's not right. Everything is holding up very well over the past 5 years or more.
