Radiator Support Kit

Anyone know the part numbers and where to purchase a replacement radiator support kit?

The ones I see from LMC and Dennis C do not look like what I believe was original I removed from the truck.

Originals (i think) appeared to be bolts with square nuts. Left side had two metal clips to stop nut from turning when tightening. These clips broke when I remove the radiator for recore purposes.

Thank you in advance.

The same 7/16" -14 hex nuts (34978-S4) are also used with the front & rear cab mounts.

I don't see any clips in the parts catalog pic.

Any chance you can post the picture?

So you are saying its just 4 bolts w/ nuts and 4 rubber washers? No flat washers, lock washers?

Thank you!

You are talking about the 4 bolts and 4 caged square nuts that hold the radiator to the core support, correct?

ND is thinking about the core support hardware for attaching it to the frame, I believe.

I've posted the pic (Illustration Section 50, page 20 = radiator support & front/rear cab mount parts) several times in this forum, but due to a glitch, I can no longer post pics.

What I said was, there are no clips like you described (or otherwise) used with the radiator support mounting parts (upper/lower absorbers and etc).

These parts I'm referring to attach the right and left ends of the radiator support to the frame.

You asked for a radiator support kit, which I assumed meant these parts.

If you want the parts that retain the radiator to the support, then the parts I listed are wrong.

You are correct thanks! Do you have part #'s for the bolts and caged square nuts and know where to purchase?

Were there rubber washers originally as LMC etc all sell a more modern kit?

If you're looking at rubber parts, you're probably looking at the kit that attaches the radiator support to the vehicle frame. To hang the radiator all you need are four 3/8 NC bolts and four 3/8 NC "J" nuts. What you refer to as clips, are the spring part which should be attached to the square nut, that holds the nut in position on the radiator support. A fastener house, if you have one near you, should have these.

Know of any that carry the "J" nuts in a square nut like the originals?

Partial part number is 372749-S - None available NOS that I can find.

They're readily available, but with a "hex" captive nut as Chad suggests. I have three originals that I can spare if anyone (chad or TVliftcabinet) needs them. Just email me your address...ehershkowitz@ hotmail.com.

Part number is 372749-S2
Illustrations of standard (hardware) parts may not show the complete suffix. The text section is required to verify these part numbers.

372749-S2 listed here: Text Section 80, page 16.

NORTZ & VIRKLER FORD in Lowville NY has 2 = 315-376-6594.
