Starter going?
Have a 2012 6.7 With about 200,000. Went to start it today after sitting for about 5 minutes and the starter made a funny noise like it was trying to engage but didn't. Turned the key back and then tried again and it fired right up. Tried it a few more times with no issue. Is this the first sign of a starter going bad? Should also note that buried it in the Mud on Friday. So bad that I had to leave it overnight and come back the with a come along and straps the next morning and spent 2 hours painfully winching it out little by little. Took her home and gave her a good bath and likely have started 15 times since then. Not sure if all the mud could have caused an issue but now I am nervous she is going to leave me stranded. Thoughts?
