Hey guys so I've had a 1991 f150 4x4 5.0 302 since November. I went out today and it won't start. It doesn't even crank. I hooked up a battery jump pack and it says that the battery is charged and while its hooked up if I try to start it it still won't crank and the dash beeps louder and quicker. Idk what it could be I would appreciate any help.
A little proper grammar would help everyone assist you with your issue.
I have no idea what "the dash beeps loader and quicker sounds messed up" means.
Sorry what I meant is when I put the key in and turn it to on the batter reader on the dash says 8 volts and what I meant by beeping is when I open the door we all know it beeps right, but when I put my foot on the brake it gets higher pitched. I cleaned the battery post off. Something in the distributor?
Check the negative terminal battery connection. Also do the same for the connection at the engine block. Most starting issues are caused by a marginal ground.

+1 Just had a starting issue with my '95 f150 that was caused by a corroded body ground connection.
