Hey everyone new to the forum. I am having trouble with the dipstick from my truck. The length of it seems insane and I can't seem to find a dip stick for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Looks like someone short got tired of the original dipstick location by the distributor and fabbed something easier to get to. Hmmm.....I suspect you could easily replace it with stock parts.
The engine may have been swapped, because this long dipstick tube is from a 1969/70 240/300 I-6 Econoline (47" long) or 1971/74 Econoline 240/300 I-6 (49" long).
Depending on the year, the Econoline dipstick could be approx. 52" or 56" long.
