Hey folks, I've got a 2000 F250 with the tow package. I'm having an issue with the trailer harness running lights. It's not the trailer, works fine on another truck. As far as i can figure, the orange wire from the truck wiring harness powers the running lights. I've go no voltage on that wire, all the fuses are good, everything else works on the harness and the truck. Can anyone point me at the next logical test/failure point? I'm assuming at this point its a broken wire, but I'm not great with vehicle electronics.
There is a trailer running lights relay in the fuse box (if you have DRLs) and it has it's own fuse, #4 I think. So it could be a bad relay or that #4 fuse.
Fuse F4, which supplies power to the relay, is in the underhood relay/fuse box.
The trailer running lamp relay is in the under dash box, not under the hood.
The wire from the relay, all the way to the rear trailer connector, is brown/white.
It is not uncommon for the connections under the body (along the left frame rail) to develop corrosion in one or more pins. It would be worthwhile to, after verifying F4 and the relay as properly operating, to crawl under there and check each of those connectors by unplugging each and inspecting them.

I guess this diagram is wrong then. I have seen mistakes before in these things, even the Ford diagrams.
