Hi Guys, Just finished up a 1500 mile trip. Truck did really well except for one thing.
I imagine that this is situational because it only happened one way.
On our return trip there was a nasty headwind. When we would get up around 75-80 there would be intermittent howling coming from somewhere around the top of the windshield.
Has anyone experienced this? I have had similar things in my other trucks but never this bad. I imagine the dealer will tell me nothing useful but I thought I would see if anyone had experienced this yet.
The good news is that it was definitely related to the windy conditions so it isn't present all the time, but still really annoying. I have a video but It is too large to post without linking. Imagine the noise when you blow across the top of a bottle but about twice the volume.
It sounds like my 2011 F250 did. As it turned out, the windshield needed to be re-sealed. I have a friend that owns an autobody/autoglass shop, and I took him for a ride and he nailed it. He told me to bring him the vehicle and he re-sealed the windshield and.................noise gone!!
