Hey guys,
I did a search and didn't see my issue, this could make things fun. I hope not, seeing the pages of dual zone issues. Well here we go, hopefully I don't have to yank my dash out.
What it is; 2013 F150 FX4 crew cab tiny bed 6.2 31k miles on it.
What it is doing; Change setting to vents, passenger side control off, temp on 73 degrees, drivers side is warm, while the passenger side is blowing cold. I can turn passenger control on and adjust it up and it will warm up but(what we pay for these things...) obviously something is not right. I have read the popping noise blend door issues, mine doesn't have that issue, is there temp sensors?
So has anyone else out there experienced this issue? Know of anyone who has? I appreciate any input ,I have had the truck for a year and a half and so far other than needing to get a tune done on it, love it but I hope it doesn't turn into a technology nightmare.
Update; Yesterday morning there was a lot of dew on my windows, hit the rear defrost button...nothing. couple miles in heat was flowing on both sides, look down at the screen drivers side is set at 72(passenger side was off) passenger side is now set itself to HI. I reset it to 72 it went back to colder than the drivers side. Anyone? I appreciate any info.
Am I going through the OBD-II port or there a way to pull codes from the HVAC system? I did a search seen people talk about issues and codes but nothing on how they got the codes.
