6.0 crank no start

I just replace injectors did and egr delete and replace the oil cooler along with the icp and ipr valve and crank sensor. I put a new HPOP IN IT 3 months ago. The ficm voltage is 47.5 cranking and the oil pressure gauge registers oil pressure within a few seconds of cranking. I'm lost as to what could be wrong. It's throwing codes for the map senso could that cause a no start?

You are going to have to specify what year it is and what brand parts you put in.

Also, what is ICP, IPR%, ficm sync, RPM, and battery voltage while cranking.

You might want to post in the 6.0 forum (or a mod might tow it there)

Mine did the exact samething

Check the ICP. It is on the passenger side valve cover 1/3 ways back from the front of the cover. It's about inch and a half tall, silver thingy. There is a connector wire. If you disconnect the connector, and the truck starts. That's the problem. Do NOT keep the truck running. This is just a test. Your going to have to buy the part and mine cost me $275 part only. I installed it or it would have been another 200 at the stealership. Only tool needed is a large box end wrench. One inch I seem to remember.
My truck would start. When it was cool, but would only crank if the truck was fully warmed up.

Does it crank evenly, or is it attempting to run and sputtering? If it's an even crank and doesn't even try to catch, my diagnostic thoughts would be 1) cam/crank/FICM syncs, 2) HPO readings for ICP_V and IPR%, 3) FICM and injector wiring harnesses. (So what DarkStar said, I'm just X2ing him).

A Bad MAP sensor alone shouldn't cause a no-start, but I guess weirder things have happened, you should replace it if it's bad. Or just check the hose, that's a likely problem because it tends to get really brittle.

Yup. Data data data. Everyone is guessing until the computer starts spitting out info.

Luckily (if he needs it) the OP can buy that part for only $125:
ICP Sensor 04-07 - Riffraff Diesel Performance

You really have to check what country people are in, I understand ya'll pay a pretty nasty markup and can face import duties up in the Great White North, but not everyone has to deal with those You should probably call Clay at Riff Raff and see what he can do for Canadians, at $275 over $125 he might be able to beat it even with all the BS. Shoot, I'd be trying to find someone on FTE in BC to go over the border and do group buys for that kind of markup.

it sputters a few time when cranking and it cranks evenly. The truck is an 06 and nothing changes when I unplug the icp sensor.

Schlu42, like the guys are saying you need something to read data. Nobody can really tell you anything without data. You could throw a few thousand at and it turn out to be a $200.00 part. Get one of these. iOS =ForScan $5.00 Windows = ForScan free. Android = Toqure Pro = $5.00 I think. Then get a ELM327 device from Amazon $10.00 to $40.00 and quit guessing, because that's all we're doing is guessing at your expense
