I ordered 2 sets of anti rattle window felts for my '59. It looked like it should be a pretty straight forward install...line up 5 clips to 5 holes and press! BUT, the window doesn't roll down quite far enough to clear-the clips kind of stick out a little bit.
Anyone have an easy install tip or do I have to open up the door to drop the window regulator?

Drop the window by removing the nylon window roller that clips onto the stud of the regulator, then fits into the window channel that the glass is adhered to.
Just had mine apart to put in a new glass. It's pretty easy but not a bad idea to have new roller on hand. The clip is a little tricky and easy to have go flying. Mine went inside the door and I still couldn't find it (didn't look that hard 'cuz I had a new one). It's also a good time to take the regulator out and do a good clean and lube job on it. I use spray white lith on the regulator and the more stiff Lubriplate white grease on the roller. It's buttery smooth now.
