Hey Guys, I am looking for a dash cam for my new SD. I did some searching and I was unable to find a thread with good recommendations. I'd love to hear some camera recommendations and I would also like to see some pictures. I want to have a clean look when I mount it, so I would like to see what you guys have done. Thanks...

 

Sorry, no recommendations, want to follow this thread. I have talked to a friend that has quite a few Vico cameras on multiple vehicles and loves their support. I have also been looking at Blackvue, personally, but again, no recommendations as I am in the market as well.

 

I am looking at this one as well the linkable rear view cam.

This is the one I went with. I've been pleased with it. Good clarity. I like the time lapse when I have to leave it somewhere a little shady or busy.

 

I bought this one on Amazon for my car. I also added a 128GB SD card. I can record a LOT of footage, over 12 hours. The camera comes on when I start the car, and goes off shortly after I turn the key off.

I can connect the camera to my computer with a USB cord to download video. The camera is hard wired in with a cord that was extra.

I bought the Lukas LK9500 several years ago and it has worked well. But I'm sure there is newer products out that knock the socks off the features of what I bought two years ago
