Thank you Rich. I've been trying to read your reply on my phone all week, but the pics help and I wanted to thank you for the well thought out reply.
Stewart, I read through one of ernesteugene's threads, and just by the titles alone I think there's a lot of reading in my future this week. I see his last post was almost 4 years ago, I hope it was only a matter of him getting a Chevy or something like that.
You posted that at 11pm at night, a good 10 hours after I posted the search link and quite a few hours after the subsequent replies, yet you didn't see the three posts that were posted hours before your response?
We've had glitches in the forum software here and there (really strange glitches too) so I have to ask, have you had this problem before?
The "phantom posts" problem that occasionally occurs here, usually only involves one post, not three. How many times has this happened?

Yeah! When did you post? Answer me!
Lo*
Good posts on the over-boost and de-fuel issues and some workarounds.
FYI. Gearhead says no need for foolers, the limits can easily be programmed to eliminate them in his tunes.
Of course, you'd want to crank your wastegate spring a little tighter to hold the higher boost or it will pop regardless of the WG solenoid command.
LOL, it certainly didn't compose that way in my head!
We've had some issues with phantom posts (email notifications for users and everything) but they can't see the post in the thread until someone posts AFTER the "phantom post" and then it appears.
This was the first time I've read where someone had three "invisible" posts, so I was a bit taken aback at how many he claimed he couldn't see, and was hoping this wasn't a new glitch and that he just overlooked the posts.

If that's what you call them, I have experienced them. Thread title is bold, Stewart_H shows as last poster yet when I click on the title his post does not show up. Back to forum main page, reload and same thing. I thought maybe it was just me.

I've been seeing the same thing, although the phantom post is always made by one particular user. Have you experienced this more than once? Curious if it's the same user every time.

Noticing whether or not it was the same user exceeds my capabilities. but I will pay more attention next time it happens.
