On my 2015 F-150, I had a Snugtop XTR canopy. It is the only canopy I've ever owned and I had no issues with it. Hell, I loved it. I have a 2017 F-350 CCSB and I'm looking to get a new canopy right away, but the XTR isn't made for this truck so I'm open to ideas and suggestions.

Should I stick with Snugtop or do I consider A.R.E. or Leer? Why?

I have a snugtop rebel, fit and finish are good. Can't complain

 

Love my Leer! Great cap, the auto lock/unlock feature is awesome. Being able to use my factory remote for doors as well as cap and not having extra keys is great!

 

I used the topper from my 2014 and it fit. It is a Unicover topper and they sent me a bottom piece for the rear window that fastened to the original window. The only thing different from 14 and 17 model is the little pointed area at the front of the box and the tailgate top. I was told the toppers from previous models would not work, but mine fit real good and saved $2100.

I just ordered a Snugtop extra vision for my long bed f350. I should have it installed the first week of September.

 

Needs flush glass or it looks cheap on these trucks.

Agreed. These trucks are to pretty to try and save $200

 

This is what I ended up with. Snugtop SuperSport. Also had the Decked system installed (no photos though).

 

How do you like the SnugTop so far? It looks great on your SD.

Love it. It's my second Snugtop. Had an XTR on my '15 F150. Expensive, but I live in the northwest and it rains way too much!
