Nice. I really like the look of the Leer Caps. I almost went with one of those. Seeing all these pics of the installed caps has me chomping at the bit for mine.

Supposed to be delivered this Friday.

LiquidSteam, what did you do with your light button when you installed your bedrug?

Kind of a hack job by the installer. If I could do it all over again I would ask them not to cut anything and I would do it myself. But it works

 

Yeah, the more I think about it the more I think I am going to go ahead and do it myself.

Picking up my Leer 100XQ on Fri morn. Did the bed rug carpet kit and the overhead pullout storage as well. Ill post up some pics.

 

Got my ARE Z Series cap today.

 

Looks great. I have had Snug top, Leer and ARE. The ARE looks the best, IMO, on the 17s.

Please do. I wanted to do the LEER locker but the price pushed me away. Even their small storage cabinet was over priced. Let us know how it all turned out.

 

Would it hurt a cap to store it suspended? My truck stays hooked to a gooseneck except for about 5 weeks out of the year when we are camping with a tt. On the camping weeks i need some dry storage, and a cap suspended in my garage by some pulleys would seem pretty easy for me to put on and take off by myself. Does any one hang their cap when not in use? Would it damage the cap for it to hang this much?

That is sharp. What did you do to your B pillars? Did you have them wrapped?

 

Thanks.Truck is an XL model, its just a flat textured plastic that came on there from the factory.

 

Ah, ok. Be glad it comes with the flat textured, mine is gloss and it is extremely easy to scratch.

I like the cap as well. The Leer might be my favorite for style on these trucks. I ordered an ARE, but the Leer is a sweet looking cap.

Here's mine. Leer 100XQ, Bed Rug kit and Leer locker. Quite pleased w it all but I think the paint match is a hair off. Could be the way the light hits the angle differently. I'll know more in a few days of living w it.. can't wait to get the Carli lift, wheels and tires on it! (I can't reach the hatch now (5'9") to close, not sure what I'm gonna do w 4" more height. If any taller forum members see me jumping up and down to grab it , please stop!)

Andrew and Kyle @ St. George Topper in St. George Utah did an excellent job w the carpet kit and wiring. Highly recommend them.
