It was one year ago today that drove home my new 55 F350! It is a great truck, original, stock, nice, but not too nice that I don't want to use it for work. I really like it. And now that my 54 F100 is running I have been driving one or the other daily and sometimes both. It is a nice running machine and it is a pleasure to drive.
Happy Anniversary! And many more for you and your trucks!! If my truck wasn't going to be painted Navy gray to honor my Dad, it would be meadow green for sure. You've got a really unique thing going, Abe. Now, if you just had a meadow green 53 F-250 and 56 F-500, you would really have a fleet like no one else. You and your trucks could go out on tour like a rock group, or a collection of artifacts from a famous museum.
From one 55' F350 owner to the other, Happy Anniversary Abe! I look forward to you and "Jimmy's" new adventures in the future. Keep the stories and pictures coming!
Happy anniversary! Good looking and it sounds like you are having fun.
I am having fun with it but I busted my butt yesterday! I had to remove sod from around a lady's two trees and make a circle, then I mowed 3 lawns, then I used the removed sod to put under a tree at my house where I have been trying to grow grass. Whew!

I see where you're going with this. That would be nice wouldn't it. But see my answer below. In the late 70's I had a 55 Chevy car and a 57 and co-owned a 56 with my brother! He also had a 55 and a 57!
