Had the cab looking pretty good I decided to smooth some weld marks on the inside back of the cab. I had is sitting on a pallet on it's nose I got in and sat on the dash next thing I knew it overbalanced and it was on its top and had landed on a battery. put a pretty big dent in it so I've set myself back a ways.
I'm not a bodyman but will do what I can ,probably have to take it to a
pro, just laughing at myself wondering what will happen next or what I'll cause next
I was wondering the same thing, spark show!! Crazy things happen to those of us doing all our own work. Once I was painting a 72 F250 I owned. I was living in Anchorage and couldn't find a good set of doors so I had did a bunch of work on mine, chasing pin holes and bondo work. I had it ready to prime and was pulling the truck in the shop at the end of the day, driving with the door open because it was masked off. Back tires hit the lip at the door, engine stalled and I stabbed the clutch. The truck rolled back, door caught the tire machine and caved the whole thing in causing me many hours of work to straighten it back out.
no sparks, I might of been better off if I had. After I got my bearings after rolling around in it I rolled it back up and found a pretty severe crease from the battery corner and a good sized dent. I believe it was just getting even with me for ignoreing it all winter. I'm glad I'm not in a hurry always something slows me, wife, grandkids, grass, fishing, napping, accidental senior moments etc
thanks for the interest
