Had these custom made for me. I have one for the grille as well, but didn't put it on yet since, I'm doing some modding on that end.
What do you guys think? I'm likely going to remove the deranged Coyote sticker. I like it, but I'm thinking it looks a bit too busy now.
This is likely something only another Ford truck guy would be the one to notice, and that's fine, I prefer subtle changes. Plus, I hate stickers.
Too busy looking for me. I'm debating what I'm going to do with mine as well. Part of me wants to do a white and black badge and get rid of the chrome but I'm also debating just blacking out the badges too.

I stopped and looked at a 2017 F150 Moab today, was just curious what the thing was. Thought it was sorta tacky, but the tailgate badge looked good. The oval was completely white, with the Ford, in the Ford script, in black. Best looking thing on that truck.
Truck was white, BTW.

Looks cool! I like it; very simple and not over-the-top. I personally would prefer an emblem like the old 6.2L F150s had. I also like '60s style 'Coyote' decals like Bob's.
Was that painted or silkscreened on? If it was, it might be a good idea to find a way to protect it from fading or peeling, like having it clear epoxy coated or something.

Thank you. I don't know how it's made, but it's a domed overlay from DeVries Signs. I know I don't have to do anything to it to protect it, just wash/wax like the rest of the truck.
I was just a little alarmed, because I know the paint Ford used on the ovals from '04-'14 have issues with disintegrating, leaving a chrome dome behind.

Yes, there was a time frame where that happened, but I "thought" they solved that problem prior to '14. Could be wrong, but I think it was around '11 model year?
DeVries did a pretty good job if anyone thought that was an actual Blue Oval.
