I'm looking at a 2016 crew cab lariat, 20" wheels, snow plow springs and roof lights. My parking garage at work says 7' clearance. In my current 2012 f150 with 20 inch wheels and 33" duratracs my antenna hits at one spot when exiting the garage. Do you guys think the f250 would fit?
Ford specs on-line, show the 2016 is 79.7 (essentially 80 inches).
84 inches is 7 ft.
Not much margin for error, nor if I'd trust the 7' nor 80 inch figures either.
Snow plow prep might give you a bit more height up front - which isn't accounted for in Ford's figure either.
When going between floors with a long wheelbase vehicle you may encounter a ceiling beam in just the wrong place will hit - especially on a curve.
My 2WD excursion has touched a low beam on a curve inside a parking garage - on the way out - no sign of damage - but it sure made me nervous.
Plus the antennae sticks up 4-6 inches ABOVE my roof - and it's had the last few inches of paint removed from hitting parking garages.
Yeah I'm going to take a tape and measure a bunch of areas I suppose. I don't have to go any farther than ground level. I know there is a guy in there with a 7.3 with a leveling kit but it looks smaller than the newer trucks I've seen.

The new trucks do seem to be bigger than the older ones. I don't know why they keep making them bigger like that. My '99 is plenty big and awkward enough as it is. Go figure...
