IPR wire connector

With a no start situation, I noticed my IPR wires (2) were missing the first four inches of insulation from a fuel leak. The bare wires were touching each other and possibly ground too. Plus upon unplugging the connector, the plastic housing that mounts to the solenoid broke off in pieces (fuel contamination)All this would definitely cause a no start......correct?

Yes it will. I would replace IPR and pigtail with motorcraft Only.

I didn't see the pigtail, but I'm sure he has it, riffraff sells the re seal kit that might do the trick. I have no way of telling how bad your IPR IS.

A new ipr is already in and I used an old injector solenoid connector soldered onto the existing ipr harness.

i had a similar issue but it was from corrosion in which i removed a section of the bad wire and soldered in a new piece then shrink wrapped it. i highly recommend investing in a soldering kit.
