Vct question
I think I might have a bad vct in a 07 f150 5.4 runs great when cold but when hot it will start idling rough and makes funny noises it has new oil pump and chain set and phasers
if I shut it off and start it right back up sounds fine and runs fine or if I don't shut off and bring rpms up it runs fine I'm not sure what kind of oil pump was used but cloyes timing set was used and oem phasers I have a good set of used vct but while I had them stored one of the screens got lost or something thanks

I had that issue as well, I kept meaning to do the Relearn process, but never got it done. After ignoring it for a bit, the computer must have changed something because now it runs good cold and hot.
