IPR question

I'm having a "no start" issue with my '97 and I'm in the process of replacing the fuel pump. Since the bowl and pump are out, I would like to replace the original IPR. My question is, I got my hands on a brand new unit for dirt cheap, but the number on it lists it for a 1995, will this function in my truck or will it cause issues? Thanks

It should work just fine. The only difference between the two is the little filter on the end.

Ford only sells the one without the edge filter. Went through this a while back and Bartow Fl ford cross ref back to the one without the edge filter. It should work fine like BBslider001 said
