Frame mounted Nerf Bars? Lockouts?
We just bought a 99 f250 super duty super cab(suicide doors) and are looking for some frame mounted nerf bars....rust makes the body mount ones on the drivers side not an option atm.
We will be fixing the body but until then i am only 5'1" and would really appreciate a step.
Anyone have any options or links? I have been looking all over but most of the ones i find just say dual mount, easy mount or nothing about the mounting. Most only show the bars without the mounting brackets as well.
Anyone have any idea what spline count and Dana was on the 99 F250 Super Duty 7.3 Diesel Super Cab Lariat for the lockouts? I believe it is a 30 spline and Dana 60, can anyone confirm those?
Thank you for any info you have

I understand you looked, but sometimes you have to look a little harder. This is the same website, with you 99 F250 Super Cab.
https://www.deezee.com/product/universal-nerf-bars/
If you look toward the bottom you'll see they are advertising chrome and black frame mount for about $291. If that's still too expensive for you, you may want to explore buying your own steel tubing or angle iron and welding up a set from scratch. It'll be a little cheaper but you'll have YOUR labor involved in making them.

The one that you keep linking me to is for the Crew Cab..i have a Super Cab. The Silver and black one for Super Cab only come in Frame mount/Rocker Panel according to the website your linking me.

The only option available is the one i show according to that website and it is $487
Am i not understanding something? I've never had to buy nerf bars before but i've been looking for a week now, literally hours a day.

1st is a Rocker Mount. 2nd is a frame mount. I'm showing you exactly what you're asking for. The super cab has a backseat with a suicide door type hinge, you would want the double step for passengers in the backseat, unless you're looking for a single step for just the front doors??? sorry about the way it's displayed, I couldn't figure how to get both of the bars close to each other. here is the description of the 2nd picture or (Frame Mounted) for About $235.00.
Universal Nerf Bars:
Universal Nerf Bars:
- 3″ Styles Are Frame Mounted For Maximum Strength
- Must Drill to Vehicle Frame For Mounting
- 4″ Styles Are Body/Rocker Mounted For Quick Installation
- Powder Coated Steel Braces Resist Rust
- Molded Plastic Step Pads For Secure Footing
- Fit Most Full and Mid-Size Pickups
- Three Year Warranty on Black Powder Coat Steel
- Limited-Lifetime Warranty on Stainless Steel

The second picture would work fine i believe but i can not get it to come up to put it in my cart. Even if i put in regular cab or crew cab, i called DeeZee and they told me that the 4" oval in any color is only available in cab mount/rocker panel mount, the 3" round in any color is available in frame mount(which i knew from the site) but that they did not have that option at this time for a 99 f250 supercab. I'm going to measure the distance wheel to wheel when i get home and see if i can order the 2nd one you have pictured to fit on my truck even though it is not intended apparently for my truck.
Thank you for your help Mike
