I'm getting ready to place an order for a 2017 F-150. Any thoughts about these choices? Any regrets you see here?

I am considering adding adaptive cruise and park assist, but we have adaptive cruise in our MDX and I hate it. I finally figured out how to turn it off and I never use it. I think it's too conservative for me, even on the "nearest" setting.
Looks like a solid build, my truck has active park assist, It has never been used, no need for that option where I'm located. I do use the adaptive cruise though and actually like it. Wouldn't bother me if I didn't have it though. I'd personally add the spray in bed liner, but after purchase you can probably get as good or better aftermarket equivalent.
The only thing I'd like to have on mine is 3:55 rear axle,(mine has 3:31) I see you have the Max Tow option, so I have to assume you have at least 3:55's.

That's right. Actually, both the Max Tow and the FX4 package add 3.55's.
Thanks for bringing up the bed liner. I meant to ask. So this is a factory sprayed liner? I always see it on window stickers and assume it's a dealer option, but now that you mention it, it wouldn't be on the sticker if it wasn't factory. That raises the question of how it compares to, e.g., LineX. I have a LineX on my 2004 F-150 that was sprayed Jan. 2004 and it still looks basically new. That is what I plan to do unless I opt for the factory option. (I don't think there is much cost difference.)
The skid plates on the FX4 package are weak sauce; I'd save the money for aftermarket. Unless you want the locker, but maybe that's available separately?
Don't get the Ford spray-in liner. It's horribly applied and I can hear my poping when I walk on it as it de-bonds from the bed. Do some Youtube searching; there are a few videos out there of aftermarket shops removing the Ford liner in about 15 minutes. Save your money and get Line-X.
I wish I got the tailgate step...that's was stupid of me to skip over with old knees and young kids. Other than that your package looks good.
Don't get the factory option spray in liner. It's thin and only covered by your bumper to bumper. Get the Line-X. Same price, much thicker, lifetime warranty and the option to color match or contrast you paint.

Thanks for any input.
Looks like a great package. My only suggestion (depending on where you live) would be to get the rear fender well covers. The front fender wells are pretty well covered so sand/salt etc...aren't much of a problem. If you live in an area where sand/salt spray, etc...would be a problem with rust down the road, I'd certainly consider it for the marginal cost.
I have the Ford spray-in liner, and I don't see much difference between it and LineX (which I've had in other trucks). I like the Ford one just fine; it's thick, and I have had zero issues with it.
I don't care for the moon roof or the tailgate step, but that is just me.
I love the retractable side steps. Couldn't live without them after having gotten them.
I went back to the 5.5 bed. It makes parking in the city easier but I miss those extra inches of the longer bed. I like my factory spray in liner and would get it again. If you are towing you should look at the EcoBoost engine and factory towing mirrors.
I have a 2017 Lariat. I originally ordered the factory spray in bed liner but for some reason at the time I ordered the factory had shut down that part of the line. The dealer had a Line-X liner sprayed in. Basically the same except Ford = 3/36 Line-X = Lifetime.
I don't think I'd go for the 5.0 and 6 speed. I have the 3.5 and 10 speed and love it. Pass on the park assist. Didn't think I'd like the adaptive cruise but now I love it. I can set the follow distance so short that it occasionally triggers the collision avoidance alarm.
Oh yea, GET THE 36 GALLON FUEL TANK!!!
After reading through these, I'll amend my earlier post to include
- 36 gallon fuel tank (a must)
- Rear wheel well inserts (completes the look of the truck)
- Larger towing mirrors - Even if you're not towing, the larger size and fish eye are a huge improvement over the stock designed-for-CAFE units.
It turns out Max Tow is not available with the 5.0L, so I had to get the regular tow package and separately add the 36 gallon tank and integrated brake controller. The 3.55 gears are picked up under the FX4 package. The dealer will also be adding wheel well liners and a Line-X bedliner before delivery. I did not get adaptive cruise or park assist.
So, today I started waiting...(and planning for mods!)
I went with the Ford hard roll up bed cover & the Ford rubber bed mat. Both these products seem like they are very good quality. I think the roll up cover might be a BacFlip Revolver X2 re-branded with Ford logos.
