I have a 1985 ranger. It was recently lifted 3 inchs, and i need longer break lines for the front, i was wondering whether stock break lines of a 4x4 f150 or 250 would be long enough and work rather then buying a whole new set of extended brake lines which just cost my frined like 100 bucks.
Make all of us happy here!! Please buy the lines. A nice guy like you and we don't want something bad to happen to you or your rig. It's worth the 100.00 bucks, if it keeps you from an accident or injuries to someone else, should something go wrong. At least if something does, you know you did the right thing. And we will to.. Good luck....
When you go to bigger tires and longer hoses it makes sense sometimes to go with the stainless steel braided lines, unless they will rub somewhere, then go with rubber hose and cover it with fuel line.
The first thing I pour my money into on a vehicle is the brake system. Worse then killing yourself is killing someone else.
