I wanted to get some opinions about tires for my 96 F350, 460, crewcab, dually, I have resently purchaced
I'm looking for the most comfort.
I'm hauling a slide in camper with a car trailer. The camper is full of tools for racing and the trailer will have a 3200 lbs car on it with at least 3 sets of tires/wheels.The big thing is the distances I'll be going, about 500-700 miles oneway and a cab full of people.
The tires I have on the truck now, are old and have alot of broken belts in them. They're mixed matched also.
Plus I want to try to stay at $110 per tire.
I believe this is doable but not sure.
The tires I have looked at are Yokohomas Geolander AT, cheap BFGs( at Sams Club),and some off brand I can't remember now.
How are Coopers? Is there any others I have not listed and should look at?
I forgot about General. How are the Grabbers in the snow? I plan on going ice racing or a winter Stage rally in Michigan, in Janurary.
I'll check them out.
I haven't yet taken them up to the snow yet. where I'm at we don't get much. But from those I've talked to I've heard no complaints.. let me know what you get. I would be interested in hearing about what's out there.
