Breaking in ceramic headers.

Hey guys first post to the forum.

I purchased some new Hedman Elite ceramic coated headers and I've been reading up on beaking them in and it says an hour straight at normal operating temps. The only problem is if I run straight headers (only to drive from garage to exhaust shop to have a custom axhaust put on) wont the engine run lean and therefor hotter?
Just some info on the motor. The motor is built for torque (cams, pistons, heads ect)but i think the previous owner had it built then ran out of money because he has a stock 2bbl and manifolds and he took the electronic ignition off after they put it on when the motor was built and put the old points on it(Vietnam vet afraid of the bomb).c6,4x4 with high volume oil pump.

You could call for a tow truck to take your vehicle to the exhaust shop, that's gonna be a few dollars more but your problem is solved.

But what I would do is just run over to the shop, the break=in process isn't written in stone.
