Will i mess something up runnin str8 headers?

I'am gonna put my headers on my 351w in a couple of days and was wondering if i'd burn a vlave driving it to the exhaust shop appox. 20 miles away or even cranking it up with straight headers?

It wont hurt anything. A friend of mine had a 67 'stang that he drove with open headers for months. Cops hassled him, so he put an exhaust on.

i wouldn't do it if your breaking in a motor, but if it already is, then it will be fine, as long as it isn't really cold outside.
