Fuel pickup issue
I know that I have had part of my fuel pick up damaged. Likely just the plastic strainer. It ran out of gas one day just when the low fuel light came on, and when I filled it up, I was about 3-4 gallons from being empty when it ran out. Luckily there was a pump within coasting distance to the pump. I would like to at least have a new strainer before pulling the tank. I cannot find a part number that I can buy just the strainer that is listed as compatible for an '04 Excursion. The only on I can find is a Dorman OE Solutions - Fuel Pump Strainer Line: DOR | Part # 904-419. Anyone have a part number for a different brand or can confirm that the Dorman will fit an Excursion?
