4X4 not working
Before i start taking my axle apart i was wanting to get some input
Before i got put in the hospital i went to the lake to pull a friends uncle out of a hole and in doing so i got stuck to well me being young and dumb decided to push the limits so long story short i messed up and now i don't have 4 high or 4 low I've deducted its not the transfer case because its sending power to the front pumpkin but i locked the hubs one at a time and which the drivers side hub locked the pumpkin sends power to the transfer case but with the passenger locked nothing happens not only that but the passenger hub takes a good amount of force to lock so I'm thinking i messed up the axle exactly what idk but i was hoping someone could help me out much appreciated
ps I'm sorry for my bad termanology

To isolate your issue:
Lock in both hubs manually. Leave it in 2HI. Truck off, climb under it and rotate the front drive shaft in both directions. The shaft shouldn't turn.
Unlock the hubs and do the same. It should rotate and turn both axleshafts at the wheels when turned in both directions.
If it checks out, your front end should be fine and we're looking toward the transfer case or switching problem electrically.
Have you inspected all fuses and relays?
Denny
BTW what Copper was saying is that with open diffs, 4x4 means you'll have intermittent power to the front axle shafts when engaged. But both will not be engaged at all times, only one side.
