So I ordered a luk clutch kit off ebay which included the single mass flywheel clutch pressure plate throw out bearing and pilot bearing and came with the 10 flywheel bolts. What it didn't include was the 8 pressure plate bolts. Called the seller and they told me that the kits do not include them. I'm skeptical. Can anyone else confirm this? I went to tractor supply and got some 5/16-18x1 inch grade 8 bolts that fit perfect. It's still kinda ticks me off they wasn't supplied. Should I use lock washers with the bolts or plain flat washers? I bought both and I got some blue thread lock.
I'm redoing my comment because I'm an idiot and thought you said bellhousing. I reused my bellhousing bolts. I'm pretty positive my kit came with new bolts for the pressure plate and flywheel. I can't remember how much there were of each, but I do believe I got both in my LUK set. I got it brand new unopened from Rock Auto in Janurary for just under $300 which includes the shipping. Nobody had it cheaper at the time that I could find.
I don't think it's the end of the world, as long as you have the right clutch disc, flywheel, and pressure plate, as well as throwout bearing. I am not sure if it is recommended not to re use the hardware or not but getting some grade 8's should be fine.
