Looking for tow mirrors
I have a 2016 150 Lariat that came with regular mirrors. I went to the dealer to find out if I can get the tow mirrors. They want 1000.00 per side. Is there a aftermarket or somewhere that sell them cheaper? Must have power fold, heat and the passing lights. Thanks.

You wont get all of that with an aftermarket mirror. Plus you won't like the quality (or lack I should say) of the aftermarket options.
Scour eBay or Amazon for OEM mirrors. Only 2015 and up F150 or 2017 and up Super Duty mirrors will fit. Some take them off because they don't like the big ones and others come off of wrecked trucks.

There are many many topics about the tow mirrors, but the consensus, is that you can only get the tow mirrors with the EXACT same functions that you currently have with your regular mirrors...for a plug-N-play install.
If not, then you will need serious MODs to get the tow mirrors to work.

Thanks I will check them out. They are power fold, not telescoping. If that means anything about plug and play.

Maybe post up the color of your mirrors and your location...then let folks know if you are willing to trade.
I found an F150 I like, but it has those tow mirrors on it and I really don't like them...it's the only thing about the truck that I don't like, but it's enough to keep me from getting it. My point is, someone like me may be interested in trading with you if you lived close enough to meet up & do a swap-out.

I'm in northern Illinois, and kept on posting on CL. No luck for almost 10 months. Tasca Parts and a dealer in White Bear, MN are cheaper than $1000 per side. They are about $1140 with the new door switch for mine that'll go on my King Ranch. I'm mixed between just getting them or waiting. I'm liking the truck so much i may not trade it off next year for a Super Duty again. I'm still searching for a TT that will work, and if i can, id stay with F150's. I'd like the mirrors, but at $1100, I can't get excited. Guess I could sell them for $800 next spring when I trade the truck, and only lose $350.

Yeah I did not think of that. The dealer was able to exchange my 09 FX4 mirrors with someone who didn't want the tow ones. I did ask my salesman to keep an eye out for someone who doesn't want them and would like to swap. I live in R.I.
