Surprise for Dad
Hello! My father has a 1961 Ford F100 Unibody that he really loves. It still runs and has the original motor but it has some issues. I want to restore it for him and make it as if it were brand new again. I'm not the greatest with restorations but my brother is a really good mechanic and he has agreed to help me with the project. My question is: Where can I find the most accurate parts to restore it and make it like new again? I would like it to be as close to original as possible, but I am considering adding a better AC and audio system for him. Also, if any of you have any recommendations as to how to "spice it up" a little I am open to suggestions. I thought I would ask the experts for advice so I don't mess it up. haha.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Should get some interesting ideas here. That's a nice thing for you to do for your Dad.
Are you certain that's what he wants? Sometimes we do things for people thinking that's what we think they want, or "should" want. See where I'm goin' with that?
Restoration can get spendy. Fast, Cheap, or Good. Pick Two. How much are you setting aside for this? For the money, are you sure Dad wouldn't want a nice new SuperDuty? Just Sayin'.
