No boost

Hey guys, truck is running awesome but I am getting absolutely no boost. Question. If the map sensor is broken would I get no boost?

Yeah cause I broke the nipple off the map sensor but I didn't think it would cause me to have no boost? I tried to make the truck work but having it in drive and accelerating while brakes on and I couldn't burn more then 1.5 psi of boost
