Ok I'm close to getting this truck repaired. I just need a little more info. I did the ohms test on my faulty injector and it passed. Then I unplugged all injectors except my faulty one and it's got no clicking going on.. all the other ones do. Am I looking at a bad injector or is it wiring?
Okay I did some more tests. I turned key off and on and tested voltage at wires, 1 to 2 on all injectors wire harness, and number 5 has nothing. All the other ones are showing 8ish volts. 3 to 4 show voltage but nothing at 1 to 2.
Plug another injector into that plug on the engine harness AND then plug that bad injector into a known good plug on the engine harness. This will confirm you have a bad injector or wiring.
It's possibly bad injector. But it may be the harness, a plug, or FICM pin.
Above is the FICM plug for injector 5.
With the injector plugged IN, unplug the FICM and ohm the OPEN pins and then ohm the CLOSE pins. Compare the readings with another injector.
If the reading are the same, it points to the FICM.
If the readings are off, suspect harness side.
Not sure if you guys can see that pin.. bent. Straightened it out and installed. all is good. Not sure how it got bent but at least it's fixed. Thanks again dually. Truck fixed

Nice. That's how it's done!
You can see it. Middle plug 4th pin up on the left row. PIN #21 INJ 5 OPEN COIL POWER
That was exactly the route I was hoping you would go with the troubleshooting. Glad some others were able to jump in and help you out to get that beast roaring.
