Inspect the wiring in the engine compartment for signs of animal chewing on it.

several of the codes are related to the wires/ plugs going to the coils on the plugs. Look for wires pulled off the COPS, burnt, or as mentioned squirrel/ mice eating wires ........ specifically around the coils.

Thank you very much, I just got the truck cheap. It was a service truck for a company that went belly up and it was sitting for a year, so that makes sense. i didn't see any evidence of mice but that doesn't mean there weren't any. When I changed the plugs I broke one clips off the cop connectors and another wont lock. I also noticed that the rubber seals inside some of the connectors are ripped or gone. One had looked to been replace (professionally). I'm gonna replace the remaining ones. What is the best thing to clean the contacts on the cop end? and should I be using Dialectic grease?
Idk if I mentioned that many of the coil codes were repeated in the reading. Someone told me to clear the codes, so I did and am going to recheck tomorrow. Thank You all so much, I will keep you posted.

yes, you could have a couple bad COP electric plugs and get several of those codes. I have bought new socket with 6 inch wire leads off e-bay to replace if needed. If they don't lock or don't have seals, then they are probably shorting out and giving codes. Clear the codes, or pull cable off battery for a couple minutes, then reinstall... codes go away... most will come back if you don't fix the plugs.

I prefer to use a spray contact cleaner that evaporates and leaves no residue, then push together dry........ I had one COP that continued to give codes after replacement and I traced it to EXTRA di-lube on the boot to spark plug connection... after that I use VERY LITTLE on the sparkplug boot and nothing on the elect plugs.
-
--if you have any dust, dirt, water, etc inside the plug you risk a short and getting a code... that's why I use contact cleaner prior to assembly.......... dialect grease is great for tail lights and such.

I really want to thank you gentlemen for your expertise.
I changed all the COP connectors and cleaned the COP terminals with contact cleaner. They looked pretty rough as you can see in the photo. I don't know if polarity matters but I noticed all the clips had a red wire on the same terminal except for the #6 clip which was changed once before, so when I changed it I put the red on the same terminal as the rest. The truck runs a lot better with no backfiring. Shifts and

accelerates fine now.
With all that being said I still have a rough idle and a few codes still. The codes are P0012, P0340, P0344

on any truck with a "sensor" problem, the first thing to do is check the sensor plug, the wire condition, and suspect the sensor if the above is all good....... Since you have a "post 2004" motor, they are also known to have additional cam phaser problems that might effect this ?........... to start , I would check the wires / plug / sensor .. similar to your spark plug problem.

So after I changed all the cop connectors I narrowed it down to the last 3 codes I listed then after driving the truck for a week it died out at the end of my street. It looked to be the fuel pump but with the expertise of my neighbor, he told me to check the Fuel Pump Control Module bolted to the frame on top of the spare tire. When I pulled it down it was just as he suspected, The aluminum had corroded and it had a 2' hole in it. I replaced that and found the connector is bad also. Well when I straightened all that out, I also got rid of 2 codes. Now I only have a P0012, my neighbor seems to think its the #1 fuel injector. We'll see... To be continued
