My boss is close to half my age and that doesn't bother me. It bothers me when you mess with my chance at getting an efficiency bonus. Trying to stay till this time next year unless a better opportunity comes up. I figure I could take a cut in pay if I could find something a lot closer to home.

He respects me and what I did in the military, always calls me sir. I'm over it. I just need to stay on it the rest off the week and hopefully maybe make top tech for the month.
Took care of little man most of the day so the wife could sleep in. His sleeping habits have been crazy the last few days and she really needed the rest. Gathering gear and charging electronics for the beach trip on Friday !!! Short work week!!!

Great day, yeah. Almost 3" of rain in NE Ga today, so got some inside jobs done at the MOL's. Yesterday got the second footing for the carport poured, 65 60lb bags of Sakrete later, ready for the carport. Time for the Ibuprofen guys.
Chief, know what's like to deal with a boss that has no idea what real work is. The one that I have to deal with now will be the third one that will learn that I was here when he got here, and will be here when he's gone. Business has worked fine for over 85 years, it will not change because some young buck has a better way to do things. Hope everyone has a great week.

wooo crazy today!
took the block to the machinist hopefully I get some good news tomorrow morning.
in other news had a crazy come by the shop and get in a argument with pops and threating him with a gun!
then the loonytoon actually came back! I had to pull my gun on him and hold him till the cops got here. lol fun fun fun never ends!

The miles are about the same, probibly a little faster time wise since I won't have to go thru so many cities on the way. The boss say a week or two but everyone in the shop kept telling me that I won't be coming back. We will see.

May use it to run to the store. But who knows she may take up and down the dirt roads. She not keen on the idea of keeping the chain sawin the bed for when a tree is in her way she could cut it down.
Bob I have a couple of list 1. Stuff I still do. 2 Stuff I doo if I have to 3. Stuff I will not do any more.
Quick eternal 8n large quantities is on the third list. I know how you feel when I poured my work pad 42 bags of 80 lb decided right that not to do that again
Airborne you right about the crazies. A few years ago somewhere in ATL a punk tried to rob s guy at a drivethru.The punk flashed his gun the Army vet used his and shothe the punk. No CHARGES were filed against the vet.

It's about 50 miles to either shop but the traffic is going to be a lot lighter going to Calhoun. I wrapped my box in cardboard and plastic wrap yesterday afternoon and they are moving it for me. I made 3 really good friends there in Austell and will miss them if I don't go back but it may be a blessing in disguise. Time will tell.
Most of the fires are in central Florida so it shouldn't have an effect on us this weekend.
Congrats on the 33rd anniversary!! Not many people can say that.
