Yeah I was going to look that place up in Griffin you were telling me about tomorrow at work I was just asking you guys to see if any of you had one first
The 79 never had one. My son was sick last night and running a high temp, the wife was freaking out. We got it under control at 2:30. I was so sleepy I took the day off of work.
The doctor tested for the flu and strep, came back negative. He is not the first one this week to come in with just a fever. Seems something viral is going around, as long as we keep the temp under control and he is eating he should be fine. Now to keep my wife from freaking anymore.
That's always how it goes to. Kid gets sick or something strange happens. Then all all of a sudden the wife loses her mind which never helps when you're trying to figure something out or get something happening in a situation that requires quickness or rational thought
But that's why us men are here because we are the calm rock and the crazy storm that is our family!
TGIF !!!
Little man is still running a temp but is still eating so maybe it will work itself out in a day or two. I mowed grass and weeeated for almost 6 hours while the wife and little man took an afternoon nap. Trying to get some past due stuff done around our house.
Wife is better now but freaks out a little when he gets sick because of the RSV and hospitalization we dealt with earlier this year.
Man I got some **** news machinist just called me in the master machinist just double-checked my block and he found a crack in it that's losing pressure
So I got to get a new block now I found one on the Craigslist I got the Dude down to 375 I'll be picking it up on Saturday I'm dropping it off on Monday for the machine is to double-check it and see it what it needs this time the master is going to do everything he had The Apprentice do the first check over when he told me everything was good
Sorry to hear that. At least you found another block.
I could have had it mowed a lot faster if my tractor was running, takes forever on a riding mower.
Chief must be broke tractor week. I broke a curl cylinder yesterday. Was able to get it almost level and chained it up, so I could use it. I thought where I chainedible it was solid today I busted a meta hyd line. Hopefully they will cover the cylinder under warranty. It is a flakey design on the rod where it attaches inside the cylinder it is a stud with a nut
Check your son's gums you maybe surprised.
Airborne did you work it into you deal that if the machine shop says the block is bad you get your money back ? Another thought on the other blocks can it be welded and a sleeve put in that cylinder . Would be expensive welding cast
they don't charge unless I get a product!
so no charge for diaging- plus it was there bad so I could stand on there head if they want to be stupid but they have been working with my family for years.
I thought of welding it but then that's just a weak point then. unacceptable I want a solid good to go block.
its cool tho the master tech is going to personally inspect the block I give Monday then tell me before the end of day if its ok to be rebuilt
cause I have another used block I can get Tuesday if this one is bad!
so I got my ducks in a row just need to start blastin!
Mine has been broken for a while but I have had so much other stuff going on I just put it on the back burner. I am going to order the electronic conversion kit today and get rid the points.
Plans for this weekend are to de-winterize the boat, change the oil in the Hummer, change the trans fluid and filter in the daughters truck and build a work table my mother in law got me. I also want to clean out the basement so I can try to get the 4 wheeler in there. One of the guys I work with repairs motorcycles on the side and said he would look at the engine to see if we can repair it.
You work to hard. How is little man? Your ATV dealer sounds like the Cummins dealer in Birmingham.
You should be able to rebuild that motor or find a used one. There is a junkyard in Madison AL and one in Tifton. I am sure the guy at work knows a out more. When I get ready for the seats for golf cart I do more resesrch.
Little man is back to normal. Changed the oil in the Hummer and trans fluid and filter in the daughters truck, got side tracked and cleaning the hot tub now. Getting ready to drop a battery in the boat and see if I can get her to fire off.
