My luck continued today with Motorcraft products.
It took 4 places to get the air filter yesterday.
This morning Firestone didn't have any, Motorcraft oil in the building, and had to get it delivered. And, the last numbnut that did the oil change stripped the drain plug, but at least the threads in the oil pan are good.

Time for a drink

I've never been overly concerned regarding air filter, as long as a name brand, purolator, wix, fram, Napa, .

I also considered an oil plug as a "wear item", considering the head ache/problems that can occur. I change mine when the head or threads start showing wear.

UnkBob, good luck with your move.
