2017 f150 Supercrew 4WD Stx

Hi everyone, well today I almost pulled the trigger on a 2017 f150 stx Supercrew with 4wd and the 3.5 ecoboost with 10 speed... I love the truck, don't get me wrong, the price dealrr gave me before rebates was42542, and 5k in rebates, do 37542 , I also qualify for 500 in college student rebates... No trade in, my question is do you think this is a fair deal? My issue is that it's still technically a base model truck although it doesn't feel like it, I've attached the window sticker with options... Does anyone have any opinions or experience?
I plan on going back tomorrow afternoon

The XTR package makes the truck look nicer. It might be more of a personal preference but I like the XLT Sport better. You can probably find one for a couple thousand more. I'm not sure what the incentives are on the 2017's. It seems like the good. If your worried about it ask to see x-plan pricing or have a buying club like Costco get you a price.

I like the XTR package too its just a bit harder to get around here. I like the truck I'm looking at, I'm just worried I'm not getting a good price considering it is still technically a base model truck.

Look at an XLT Sport and compare the options and equipment. That is a loaded up truck for an XL. STX should be it's own trim level. The only real difference between it and an XLT Sport 301a is the lack of a console shifter.

I believe that these are the options that are on the XLT 302A, but are not on the XL w/ 101A and STX packages:

Power seats
Heated seats
Leather-wrapped steering wheel
Door Keypad
Adjustable pedals
Soft-touch interior panels
- The XL interior is just a bit more 'harsh' in terms of the hard plastic parts.
Auto-dimming rear-view mirror

110V / 400W Outlet - can be ordered - $186 per x-plan order form
Rear Sensing System - can be ordered - $225 per x-plan order form
Box Link System - can be ordered - $74 per x-plan order form
Black Platform Running Boards - can be ordered - $233 per x-plan order form
Heated side-view mirrors - can be ordered - $283 per x-plan order form

Remote Start - cannot be ordered, but dealer-installed - $182 per x-plan order form - dealer install may be higher
LED Bed Lights - cannot be ordered, but dealer-installed - $116 per x-plan order form - dealer install may be higher

I optioned an XL w/ STX package crewcab as closely as possible to the XLT 302A crewcab, and the STX was about $2,000 less. I'd miss the keypad and power seats, but really prefer the look of the XL w/ STX package over the XLT.

With the rebates and discounts I would think it's a good deal. Do they have any extra's to add on? Is that the total out the door price? If you are really worried tell them you belong to a club & might be able to X-Plan pricing. Then ask them to show you the price they gave you and compare it to X-Plan. The X-Plan price is a pretty good deal so if the number they gave you is close you are good.

Thank you guys for the help, there are so many cheats and secrets to buying a ford... But I have to ask if someone can explain x-plan to me, and Costco? Last night the guy said I was a Costco eligible but I don't really know what that is... I have been considering the xlt with 302a, they quoted me 42k for an xlt with msrp of 50k. Also, it is possible to get leather with an xlt or is that only in a lariat?

Costco has negotiated prices with many dealers and many makes. There price is a pretty good deal and would be difficult to beat on your own. The down side is not all dealers participate. If you can get Costco pricing I would say go for it. You can walk away knowing you made a good deal on your purchase.
In my case, my wife's company is a strategic business partner with Ford so we get the X-Plan discount through her employer. It is the same deal Ford employee's can give to their friends and there are some other groups that can offer X-Plan to their members.

To get factory leather seats you have to step up to a Lariat. A Lariat will also give you dual zone climate control.

No factory leather option on an XLT, but most dealers can add leather through Katzkins or Classic Soft Trim. Both of those companies have better than Lariat leather. I've used CST in the past and was very pleased with the quality.

I thought I would add leather to my current truck, but the black sport cloth is holding up great so far. If in the future the seat covers start to get worn I may switch to leather then.
