im trying to figure out what the 3 connectors on the drivers wheel well go to. no wire diagram i can find has them. the colors are so faded i can only assume what they are actually supposed to be. i will post pictures as soon as i figure out how again. been awhile since i posted anything.
last night i discovered it is hot in run and start but not accessory. everything on the truck works and it runs pretty well. kinda at a loss what this wire is for and i cant seem to locate it on any wire diagram
ok so i have found the wire goes into the fuse block and connects to the #18 fuse labeled emmisions and aux fuel tank per haynes manual. problem is it states that this wire comes from the ignition, not under the hood. im hoping someone has some kind of insight on this.
i wanted to update so no anyone else having this issue can find it. the wire in question goes into the plug as a red wire with light green stripe. out of the plug it is a black wire with purple stripe. this wire goes to the harness and ties into a splice for the coil. i found a truck in the pick apart with half the harness and was able to narrow down this. now all i need to do is figure out how the truck is pulling power when this wire isnt hooked up. seems to be crossed over to the start solenoid.
