After getting the truck running after an engine compartment fire, we've got a leaking fuel rail. On the passenger side, where the upper rubber hose connects to the metal rail, there's a crack in the rubber along the part that fits over the metal tube. It's hard to tell how the hose is fixed in place, but it looks like it might be some sort of crimp fit. Ideally, we would replace the rubber hose, but I don't think we can do that crimp connection.
Has anyone dealt with this problem before? Anyone know what the fix is?
