Hi all. What is this part in the center of my picture called? Im tired of replacing the black rubber plug on the end of it. I want to try and find one without that branch that needs a plug.
If it comes out, I believe it's a 1/2" npt elbow. Napa should have a simple one that has a 5/8" hose barb, or a street elbow with a hose barb threaded in on the upper side.
Heater fitting is the name and under Murray Climate Control part #84506. If you go take this with you as the places other than NAPA can't figure it out. My NAPA had them on the wall in bubble packs. About $9.
