My 99 Lightning does not want to crank. I replaced the battery and the starter, but nether helped. I turned the crank to rule out a locked engine. No problem there.
The underside of the truck has no rust or corrosion, so, I ruled out corrosion at the grounding connections at the frame.
Any ideas as to where to go from here? One thing I thought strange was that both the OEM starter and the 2 year old battery should go bad at the same time. I drove the truck to a car show the night before and had no indication that something may be wrong.
Both the battery and the started tested bad that's why I had to replace them.
